Does it take longer to send multiple emails that it does to send a single email?

No, multiple emails take the same amount of time to be sent as it would take to send one.

In most email programmes you are given the chance to input multiple email addresses to send the same email to a lot of different people.

Why don't you do a computer service?

Many companies say they do a full service on your computer, comparing your computer to a car.

Clicksonline.info does not feel this is a valid comparison and as such we do not call what we do a computer service.

What is the best way to keep my computer safe?

There are many things you should do to make sure your computer is safe. 

The easiest way to keep Windows safe is to not have the internet, keep an eye on the computer at all times, and make sure it is turned off. Or if you do want to use it, make sure only disks from the computer itself go into the computer.

If  however you want to use the computer for more than a paper weight and power consumer there are a few simple things you should buy, and install in the computer to make it safe and secure. 

I'm getting an error on my computer telling me I don't have enough room on my hard drive for the Windows Virtual Memory. What is it and how can I fix the problem?

What is the Windows Virtual Memory:

Windows Vurtual Memory, or Swap File, is an area of you hard drive that Windows sets aside to store data and programmes on when they are being used, quite often when you don't have enough memory in your computer.

Even if you have enough memory in your computer, Windows still sets up and uses the Swap file to store data that you have loaded, but aren't using heavily as a way to save the computers memory for things it needs quick access to.

I'm having some problems with Windows programmes, what can I do to fix them?

Over time, and as you use and install programmes on your computer, the core system files in Windows might become corrupted.

While the best way to fix the problem is to completely reinstall Windows, it is a little bit on the extreme and inconvenient side but it does allow Windows to be completely fixed. There is an alternative though, which will save you having to start from scratch and you will have your computer pretty much ready to go within an hour.

You will need your original Windows disk, a full install, upgrade or recovery disk will do. Put the disk in your cd drive before you start.

I've increased the plan, speed and downloads, I'm on for the internet but I'm still hitting my download limit, Is something wrong happening?

Most internet service providers ISP's have a page on their website where you can find out how much you have downloaded, or how much bandwidth you have used. This is a good place to find out what you have used.

Peak Problems 

There are a few things you should look at before we go much further. Most providers have "On Peak" and "Off Peak" allowances. This involves breaking up your total bandwidth over different periods of the day. While times will change from ISP to ISP, in most cases "Off Peak" is from midnight till 8am, while"On Peak" is the rest of the day.

I've put a password on my Windows user account, but I don't want to have to type in the password each time I turn the computer on, is there a way around typing it?

As I have said, for the security of your documents and computer you should have a password on your user account to help stop people from gaining unauthorised access to your computer. However once you put a password on your computer, or have more than one user account, you will have to choose the account you want Windows to load into.
