I have printed off a photo I took and deleted off the computer. I now what to email it to a friend, how can I get it back on the computer?

Depending on how long ago, and what you have been doing since you deleted the file off your computer you can try to undelete the file by using the method shown in the File Deletion Question article by clicking here . 

If you have done a lot with your computer, or it was a while ago when you deleted the files you will need to scan them back on your computer using a scanner.

While each scanner has their own software, they all have the same features.

You will need to open the programme that came with your scanner to be able to find the area that will allow you scan a document.

Once you have found that area of the programme you will either have to tell the programme you want to save the document you want to scan as a file on your computer before you start scanning or after it has finished. Different scanner makers have different ways of doing things.

Tell the scanner to scan the document with the highest settings that way you will get the maximum benefit and quality out of the document.

Once you have the document scanned you will be asked to save it somewhere on your computer and name it something.

Call it something that you will remember and put it somewhere you won't lose it.

You can then email it to friends, print it off again, modify it in some way, or put it on a website.
